She was not only supportive and effective, she was spot on with all of her advice. Her most endearing quality is her discretion and respect for the client, even when she had to steer me away from wrong paths to the right ones, without ever insulting my intelligence (even though I was wrong) nor belittling my fragile ego. I recommend her to anyone who needs to publicize and organize events, be they a modest wedding or party to sizable gatherings and celebrations open to the public. I would like to extend major kudos to Lori Leonard at Lori’s Links! Approximately 2 months ago, an AirBnB that I manage was badly destroyed by the renters. In a year of one disappointment after another, meeting Lori has been a real bright spot. I needed to do a small renovation on a house and was both short on time and reliable contacts. Lori not only introduced me to incredibly skilled tradesmen, but coordinated all of us to get the job done professionally and on time. She works with an efficiency I had not previously experienced in my decades in the Laurentians. Lori will definitely be my first stop on all future projects.

J’avais besoin de faire une petite rénovation sur une maison et j’étais à la fois à court de temps et de contacts fiables. Lori m’a non seulement présenté des gens de métier incroyablement compétents, mais elle nous a tous coordonnés pour que le travail soit fait professionnellement et à temps. Elle travaille avec une efficacité que je n’avais jamais connue auparavant dans les Laurentides. Lori sera certainement mon premier arrêt pour tous les projets à venir. 

In March I faced 3 major high cost projects which had to be done before this summer. My previous history with this type of work was unsatisfactory. A high cost septic system completed without permits or supporting plans. A stove installation again without permits or necessary paperwork. Each time you try to get answers you run into a brick wall. The contractors get paid then ignore you.
Luckily this year I found out about Lori’s Links and everything changed. My badly worn roof was re-shingled last week on budget and with invoices. My artesian well project is set for July with the best well digger in the Laurentians, again with permits and invoices. Our destroyed lawn will be renewed. An old pump has been replaced ready for irrigation. Lori even got someone to clear our roofs of snow when it was impossible to find someone. The contractors she recommends have the same things in common. They talk to you, give fair appraisals and estimates, and come on time with needed paperwork. None of these projects had much of a chance without the assistance of Lori’s Links.

En mars, j’ai été confronté à trois grands projets très coûteux qui devaient être réalisés avant l’été. Mes antécédents avec ce type de travaux n’étaient pas satisfaisants. Une fosse septique coûteuse, réalisée sans permis ni plans. Une installation de poêle, là encore sans permis ni documents nécessaires. Chaque fois que vous essayez d’obtenir des réponses, vous vous heurtez à un mur de briques. Les entrepreneurs sont payés et vous ignorent.
Heureusement, cette année, j’ai découvert “Les Contacts de Lori” et tout a changé. Mon toit très usé a été refait la semaine dernière dans les limites du budget et avec des factures. Mon projet de puits artésien est prévu pour juillet avec le meilleur puisatier des Laurentides, encore une fois avec permis et factures. Notre pelouse détruite sera renouvelée. Une vieille pompe a été remplacée, prête pour l’irrigation. Lori a même trouvé quelqu’un pour déneiger nos toits quand il était impossible de trouver quelqu’un. Les entrepreneurs qu’elle recommande ont les mêmes points en commun. Ils vous parlent, donnent des évaluations et des estimations justes, et arrivent à l’heure avec les documents nécessaires. Aucun de ces projets n’aurait eu beaucoup de chance sans l’aide de Lori’s Links.
